Science Center Professional Development for the Next Generation! November 12, 2014

Posted by Sean Musselman in Uncategorized.

Enrollment is now open for our winter/spring professional development course:

“Elementary Science Methods for the Next Generation of Science Standards.”

This course is for any elementary faculty member looking to improve their science instruction while preparing for coming changes in the K-12 Massachusetts Science, Tech, and Engineering Standards.

Why this course over other professional development opportunities?

  1. It’s for Burlington teachers, by Burlington teachers who understand the benefits and challenges our specific district faces regarding science classroom instruction.
  2. It offers strategies and skills to teachers that will impact your classroom this year and beyond.
  3. It’s local and concise, meeting one Monday a month at the Science Center:  3:15 – 5:15

To sign-up, add your information to this google form, send us an email letting us know, or give us a call at x1835!

We are looking forward to spending time with teachers from all over the school system in many different specialties. Please contact me or Wendy if you have any questions!
